Actor portrayal

Sebum is an oily wax naturally produced by your skin – everyone has it. Some sebum is beneficial as it helps to moisturise and protect the skin, excess production can lead to acne.

Hormonal changes during puberty, the teenage years, and even later in life can increase sebum levels, often resulting in breakouts and inflammation. If you experience hormonal acne, you have already experienced hormone fluctuations causing oily breakouts, particularly around the chin and jawline.

The excess sebum acts as “food” for acne-causing bacteria, leading to clogged pores and breakouts.

Unlike other acne treatments that focus only on bacteria or oil, WINLEVI helps manage acne by targeting the hormones that trigger excess oil production, effectively addressing acne at its source.
